Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences, managing kitchen operations, and driving culinary innovation. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee menu development, food preparation, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
• Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with management to control food costs and optimize operational efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of ingredients.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and dishes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
